Job Description
- Work on projects utilizing various application stacks, Linux, and Windows
- Being a member of the SOC Monitoring Team 24/7 - Identifying and resolving issues reported via multiple monitoring apps requires collaboration with the SRE, DBA, Dev, and NOC teams.
- To promote operational best practices and assure dependable and scalable services and products, collaborate with the teams responsible for application development and system operation.
- Participate in the creation of operational runbooks and documentation
- actively look for ways to improve and manage different infrastructure services including monitoring, orchestration, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Automate system setup by developing puppet modules and policies.
- As needed, take part in on-call support activities and address incidents and outages.
- implementation of long-term solutions to stop downtimes and outages
- Improve and maintain our platforms for metric gathering, log processing, and monitoring
Eligibility
- understanding of several operating systems, including Microsoft, Unix, Linux, etc.
- Linux - Directory organization, network, log files, boot procedure, etc.
- Basic computer programming: HTML, CSS, PHP, Python, C, C++, and JavaScript
- SQL data base
- Github and Git
- Python IDE: Spyder with Jupyter Notebook
- Web frameworks: Flask and Django
- TCP IP - Networking
- Architecture Knowledge
- Icinga with Puppet, or using certain monitoring tools
- IKE Stack
